On January 27th, volunteers from DPW participated in San Francisco’s bi-annual count of homeless persons. The homeless count is a volunteer-driven, community-wide effort coordinated by the San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA).
On the night of the count teams of volunteers were assigned routes across the city where they counted homeless individuals observed on streets. Depending on the area, some volunteers either walked drove.
